Getting to know our Cherry Hill neighbors

GreenDrop is good for charities, good for the environment and good for communities. We are always looking to give back to the communities we are located in. Whether that’s transforming an eyesore, like an abandoned gas station into one of our chartable donation sites, sponsoring a local sports team or participating in a community event.

Last weekend we had the opportunity to really get involved in several communities near our Cherry Hill location.

First, we put on a free movie night for the Maple Shade Soccer Club, a league we sponsor. We were there to kick-off the fall soccer season with the organization located just minutes away from our site. We provided the movie, Despicable Me 2 and Maple Shade Soccer Club popped the popcorn! It was a great event for the families of the league and we are looking forward to catching a game or two this season!

Next, we helped pack up unsold items for donation after the Haddonfield Lions Club Flea Market. For the second year in a row the club invited us to pickup donations after the event for our partner charity, The National Federation of the Blind. This year our GreenDrop truck was over flowing with donations. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for next year!

Lastly, we participated in the Pennsauken Car, Bike and Craft show. The event was held just a few blocks away from our local GreenDrop. It was a perfect Sunday for families to walk around and see both vintage and new custom cars. Our team was on hand giving away free GreenDrop swag with the GreenDrop Mini Cooper in tow.

Up next we will be in College Park, MD for College Park Day!
