The first Monday in September, otherwise known as Labor Day is a yearly national tribute to American workers and their contribution to our country. The holiday was first recognized nationally in 1894 when Congress passed an act declaring it a legal holiday.
At GreenDrop we work hard to help fulfill the missions of our partner charities: the National Federation of the Blind, The Military Order of the Purple Heart and the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul Philadelphia.
Last year we raised more than $2.5 million for our partner charities and we could not have done that without all the people that make our operation work.
First, our call agents, GreenDrop’s three call centers are staffed with friendly call agents ready to assist our donors in setting up home pickup donations.
From there we have our logistic and trucking team, who go out in the early morning and drive miles upon miles to collect the donations for our partner charities. Rain or Shine our trucking team is committed to our home pickups.
And of course, we have our GreenDrop attendants. From Connecticut to Virginia our GreenDrop attendants are eager to assist our donors, unload their donations and provide them with tax-deductible documentation from one our partner charities!
To all the people that come together at GreenDrop, we thank you for your hard work!
As we send off our slower paced summer and enter into the busy fall, let us help you stay organized. Have you seen our fall organization blog?
