Introducing Colleen Blair: GreenDrop’s newest marketing coordinator

Welcome, Colleen!

Welcome, Colleen!

Today, we are very excited to introduce you to Colleen Blair, our new Marketing Coordinator. Colleen will be working on behalf of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Philadelphia (SVDP) to ensure that SVDP’S core mission of offering compassionate person-to-person service to the needy and suffering is accomplished through Parish clothing drives and other community events.

Colleen is a long-time donor to the same charitable organizations that GreenDrop works on behalf of — SVDP, the National Federation of the Blind, and the Military Order of the Purple Heart – and comes to GreenDrop from Holy Family Regional Catholic School.

There, she was the Director of Development for four years, and was accountable for the overall planning, management, coordination, and evaluation of development and constituent relations. This previous experience gives her the understanding of the significance of educating constituents on the importance of mission-driven philanthropy.

“At GreenDrop, my top priority is maintaining and nurturing the relationships that St. Vincent de Paul has developed with the Pastors within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, as well as fostering new relationships within the Archdiocese and the community,” Colleen says. “This is the most important way GreenDrop can help the Society of St. Vincent de Paul to continue their legacy of neighbors helping neighbors. I’m very excited to be a part of the GreenDrop family; I’m a donor myself, and love the mission of doing good for charities, the community, and the environment.”

Colleen resides in Fairless Hills, Pa with Jim, her husband of 22 years, her sons Ryan, 17, Kevin, 15 and 1 year-old Shiba Inu, Bailey. When she’s not in the office, you’ll find Colleen spending time with her family, dabbling in interior design, and reading.

She has been Parishioner at St. Frances Cabrini Parish for over 37 years, and is very active in the Parish community. She currently serves on the Parish Leadership Committee and is also an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion.
