What is it?
GreenDrop Home Clean-Out service is a free service that helps you recycle, re-purpose and donate large volumes of clothing and household items that you no longer need - it's fast and it's easy! We send out our professional Concierge to consult with you on the items we can accept and to create a list to help you prepare for our Drivers who come to your home, pack and remove your donation.
GreenDrop accepts all articles of clothing, shoes, blankets and bedding, as well as collectibles, kitchenware, toys, small appliances, electronics and sporting goods. For your convenience, please review our detailed list of Acceptable and Unacceptable Items to ensure your donations meet the requirements.
How is this different from Home Pick Up?
Our Home Clean-Out service is targeted to donors with large volume donations due to:
- Preparing for a Move
- Downsizing (Empty Nesters)
- Transition into Assisted Living Facilities
- Death in the Family
- Executors looking for assistance removing unwanted items for an Estate Sale
- Home Clean-Outs
There may be items that our charity partners are unable to accept, our goal is to provide you with great service and alternative outlets for those items that cannot benefit our charity partners.
Areas of Service
GreenDrop is currently offering the Home Clean-Out Concierge service in the Philadelphia metropolitan area; New Jersey; Delaware; Baltimore metropolitan area; Washington, DC; Northern VA and the Southside Hampton Roads, VA area. We plan to expand the service in the near future, new service areas will be announced on the homepage.
