Home Clean-Out


What is it?

GreenDrop Home Clean-Out service is a free service that helps you recycle, re-purpose and donate large volumes of clothing and household items that you no longer need - it's fast and it's easy! We send out our professional Concierge to consult with you on the items we can accept and help you prepare for our Drivers who come to your home, pack and remove your donation.

GreenDrop accepts all articles of clothing, shoes, blankets and bedding, as well as collectibles, kitchenware, toys, small appliances, electronics and sporting goods. For your convenience, please review our detailed list of Acceptable and Unacceptable Items to ensure your donations meet the requirements.

How is this different from Home Pick Up?

Our Home Clean-Out service is targeted to donors with large volume donations due to:

  • Preparing for a Move
  • Downsizing (Empty Nesters)
  • Transition into Assisted Living Facilities
  • Death in the Family
  • Executors looking for assistance removing leftover items from an Estate Sale
  • Home Clean-Outs

There may be items that our charity partners are unable to accept, our goal is to provide you with great service and alternative outlets for those items that cannot benefit our charity partners.

How do I schedule a consultation?

To speak with one of our concierge specialists, please contact our Home-Clean Out department via email at concierge@gogreendrop.com and include your name, phone number, address and description of the service you need.  You can also reach us by telephone at 1-888-575-7700.


The pickup went very well. Both of the Green Drop folks were very friendly and helpful.  If there was something they couldn’t take, they explained why.  They were also very efficient.  I was surprised how quickly they were able to take the stuff we had available and get it loaded in the truck.  I would recommend your service to anyone in a similar situation.

What a wonderful service the Home Clean-Out Concierge Service is! Moving from a large home to a one bedroom condo certainly had me feeling very overwhelmed! From the time of my initial phone call to the pickup of my items the Concierge Team was a pleasure to work with. Linda answered all of my questions & explained the service to me. My initial meeting with Colleen left me feeling very much at ease knowing that my items would be benefitting the society of St. Vincent de Paul of Philadelphia. As you know our 96 year old mother was recently and unexpectedly placed in a nursing facility. I made the last minute trip from Florida to help my sister with getting Mom settled in and put our childhood home up for sale. Cleaning out a large ranch with full attic and basement has been quite the undertaking. From the first time we spoke you were nothing but helpful, courteous, informative and guided me thru the process, answering all of my questions and concerns. You are a credit to the organization. Mom has donated to Purple Heart for decades in honor of my late father who was a WWII Navy Seabee veteran and we did not think twice who to contact first.

Our pick up date was June 19th. The crew that was sent was amazing. They were courteous, respectful, no nonsense hard working men I could not believe how quickly and efficiently they got the job done.


The entire process from start to finish was a pleasure. Please pass this along to the proper supervisors and managers of your company.

I cannot speak highly enough about the GreenDrop Concierge Service. Melanie was fantastic in assessing how much I had for donation and that the items fell into the acceptable donation categories. She scheduled the pick up to fit my schedule, emailed to confirm and called the morning of to let me know the crew was on their way.  

Ruben and Fabrisio worked tirelessly and very efficiently and completed the task in just under an hour. They were very polite and professional.
