Policies

The American Red Cross, the Military Order of the Purple Heart, The National Federation of the Blind and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Philadelphia, have selected GreenDrop as the organization to generate and collect donations of clothing and household items for sale to various thrift stores in the Mid-Atlantic region with all proceeds directly benefitting the programs and services offered by the charities to its constituents. These charities recognize the difficulty and time it takes to manage the generation, collection and sale processes to convert donated goods into much needed cash to support their critical efforts. GreenDrop is reimbursed for its generation costs by the charities who remain focused on their important programs for the nation’s veterans and visually-impaired within diverse communities. GreenDrop is also a productive and effective way for households to responsibly recycle unwanted goods rather than add to overflowing landfills while simultaneously supporting great charitable causes. GreenDrop, as required, registers with all applicable state agencies where generation efforts are made on behalf of its charities.
